Applications
Post the application on your own journal then comment here with the link using a subject line like this: Character name | Canon | Reserved/Unreserved
This application is meant to not be too difficult and as such it won't be necessary to go into the level of detail many games require, though if you actively enjoy writing essays or have a previous app for another game you want to recycle, that's fine.
If we need more information, we'll just ask. Your application won't be rejected for insufficient information (we'll just ask clarifying questions) or minor grammar/spelling errors, though it might be rejected for other reasons such as being particularly hateful or particularly low quality. We will use our own discretion on when to reject an application, but don't anticipate doing it that often.
Name: The name you go by.
Age: Your age. Minimum is 18.
Contact details: Plurk, Discord, whatever you use.
Other characters: Any characters you already have in the game.
Name: Your character's name.
Canon: Their canon if any. Fandom OCs and the like give the canon they're based off.
OU/AU/CRAU/OC: Pick which one applies to your character. Fandom OCs pick OC.
World info: Describe the world your character currently resides in, in as much detail as you feel necessary. For example, something set in modern Seattle with no differences from our world likely won't need more than a sentence or two, while more complicated or unusual settings might require a few paragraphs. This info is important because it tells people who visit your character's world what they can expect. Linking to a wiki is fine.
History: The sequence of events that happened before your character's canon point and, optionally, future events after that point. For AU and CRAU characters, just describe the AU history. A bullet point list, wiki link, or the like is fine--deep details aren't necessary. Note: If your character is a minor canon character with a low amount of canonical history, note every significant event you can and include a note about how little canonical history they have.
Canon point: The point in your character's history they're taken from.
Age: The age your character is. You can approximate where necessary or just write "Unknown".
Personality: Give an idea of your character's personality at their current canon point. Writing a whole essay isn't necessary, but it does need to be written in your own words. Just enough to give an idea of who your character is fine.
AU Changes: If your character is AU or CRAU, list the changes.
Capabilities: Just give us an idea of what your character has to work with. Stuff they're good at like brewing tea, unusual abilities they have, stuff like that. It is not necessary to describe the nitty gritty details of those capabilities. Especially note any interdimensional travel capabilities they might have.
Sample: Something to give us an idea of how you play your character. You can use any threads that are reasonably close to how you will be playing your character in this game. Easiest is probably to just use threads from this game's test drives.
Notes: Anything in particular you want to note.
And you're done with the application!
Applications are currently open for the foreseeable future.
