Synodiporia is probably ending in November, and the final Jaunt is certainly coming to a close, which means that some point in November I'll be free to actually get Deedee's canon started.
Which means that everyone playing on Deedee's server (the Chimera server - and people piggybacking on Badgernet) might potentially get sucked into Mundus along with her as a first-level character with basic equipment.
(please god, let the IDF sign up for this. I wanna see how they react to the shoe being on the other foot.)
I have a whole effortpost about the species and classes here. I should probably also talk about crafting proficiency and the Gods, as well. If we don't have a Hikaru, NPCing him to explain this and link the Wiki works; this is information your characters would know.
Choosing to translate your character perfectly is valid. So is choosing a character appropriate to their heroic fantasies. So is choosing something wildly inappropriate for the lulz!
For most of the people on Badgernet, this will be temporary; for the rest of Deedee's canon, it will NOT.

Kokichi already expressed interest in the game, so he will be pretty excited to get pulled into the game as a rogue. Either Vulpecian or Pixie. Expect him to be having the time of his life, blending into the fantasy world with relative ease.
Shin, on the other hand, has better things to do than mess around with video games... And YET, he's also gonna end up in Mundus as a Koboldt Sage. After the initial freakout over being turned into a lizard again, he is going to spend most of his time trying to get outta this game and back to whatever he was doing.
I wanna draw art of this. Also, since you said most of the people on Badgernet get to go home, does that mean I can have Kokichi stranded in Mundus? The idea of him ending up as a world hopping nomad because of Badgernet is interesting to me.
Most will - the option to remain is absolutely there. I just wanted to make it clear that your characters will only get stranded if the player WANTS them to be.

Because apparently I've decided that she just needs fluffy tails sometimes.
Also, it'd mean she's without her powers again in a rare context where that's not potentially fatal for her, which would be generally Not A Bad Thing.
